작품 소개
요즘 넷플릭스에서 챙겨보기 시작한 미드 퀸스 겜빗! 도서 원작의 TV 드라마라고 한다.
체스는 잘 모르지만, 여자 주인공의 체스 여왕으로의 성장과정이 볼 만하다.
여자 주인공은 우연히 고아원 지하실에서 관리인 아저씨를 통해 알게 된 체스에 흥미를 갖게 되고, 체스 신동으로 불리며 엄청난 실력으로 성장해 나간다.
특히 체스 둔 과정을 밤마다 복기하는 장면이 참 인상적이다.
장면 소개
주인공 베스는 엄마를 교통사고로 잃고 고아가 된다. 그렇게 들어가게 된 고아원에서 만나게 된 친구 졸린.
고아원에서는 아이들에게 두 가지 비타민을 주는데,
졸린은 초록색 비타민을 먹는 기분에 너무 익숙해지지 말라 베스에게 충고한다.
